Bio: 

Dorothea Kübler joined the WZB as the director of the unit "Market Behavior" in October 2009. She is also a Professor of Microeconomics at the Technical University Berlin, a position she has held since 2004. She studied economics at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Konstanz and the Free University Berlin. After receiving a doctorate degree from Humboldt University Berlin, she spent three years at UC Berkeley and Harvard University as a research fellow. She completed the Habilitation at Humboldt University in 2003. In 2005 she joined the IZA (Institute for the Study of Labor) as a research fellow and also became the head of a research project on strategic uncertainty in experimental games in the Collaborative Research Center (SFB) "Economic Risk". Her research and teaching cover both microeconomics (game theory, industrial organization) as well as behavioral and experimental economics.
