Bio:

Henrik Walter is Professor for Psychiatry, Psychiatric Neuroscience and Neurophilosophy. He is board certified in neurology as well as in psychiatry and psychotherapy and holds doctoral degrees in medicine and philosophy. He has widely published on the neural correlates of executive function, emotion and social cognition in healthy subjects and in psychiatric populations, in particular schizophrenia and depression as well as on free will issues. Currently, his major research projects focus on imaging genetics, emotion regulation, volition and intentions, and neuroethics.
