Bio:

Marios G. Philiastides received the B.S. degree in biomedical engineering from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, in 2001, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University, Stanford, CA, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Columbia University, New York, in 2007. He is currently a Research Scientist with the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Berlin, Germany. His research focuses on neuroimaging and computational modeling of visual and cognitive function with emphasis on perceptual and reward-based decision-making.
